Lay down shapes of light color.
Overlay dark colors to same areas.
Scratch away top layer of color to reveal lighter color below.
Brushed Water Application
Carefully draw image. Fill in areas of color.
Blend areas of color by smoothing with fingers.
Apply water with brush to soften areas of color.
• Dip oil pastels in water and draw into design.
